Frequently Asked Questions
- What are your hours?
-
Monday-Friday between 9am - 5pm. I do have limited Saturday hours.
- Where are you located?
-
I'm located in Frankfort, Illinois. I service Frankfort and the surrounding areas.
- When is the best time to schedule my photo session?
-
Ideally, you want to schedule the summer between Junior and Senior year. Some like to schedule their session in the summer because hello sunshine and nice weather in the midwest. Others like the spring or fall months because of the pretty colors or clothing options. All that said, it really comes down to lighting. In the summer months, we have more daylight hours than we do in the fall. I either will photograph your session in the morning hours between 8-10 or in the late afternoon between 4-6. I don't photograph midday because the lighting is just too harsh. Note, daylight savings time plays a key role in daylight hours, so some adjustment need to be made during those months. Pro Tip: Schedule your session early so you get the best possible date available.
- How do I book a session with you?
-
Sign up for a free 30 min consultation. I will cover what to expect, process, product and pricing information.
- How far in advance should I book?
-
The earlier you book the better chance of getting a date that works best for you and my schedule. The summer and fall months will book faster than other months.
- Do you offer digital images?
-
Yes. However, I believe in high quality printed products. I also know you want photos on your phones and for social media. I provide a social media digital file for all poses purchased.
- When will I see and get my photos?
-
During your photo session, we will set up a date about one weeks after your session where we will meet in person to review your images. At your preview appointment, you will view a slideshow of what I believe to be the best images from the day and together we will narrow down your favorites. Final editing on selected images will be done and I will submit order to lab for printing. IMPORTANT: all final selections are made at this time and payment is due for purchased items. This appointment will take one hour. Final product will be available for pickup/delivery about 4-5 weeks after ordering.
- Can I include activities, pets, and cars?
-
Absolutely! Activities cover much more than school activities, (i.e., dance, art, books, swimming, golf, etc.) If you want to include your car, let's do it. This is your session, and I want it to mean something special to you. My hope is, when you reflect back years later, you have a fond memory of the total experience.
